The CallbaXX A Cappella

Performer, choreographer, Webmaster, Social chair, & President | Fall 2009 - Spring 2013

Throughout all four years of my undergrad career at Cornell University, I was a member of the all-female a cappella group, The CallbaXX. While on the group I held the positions of president, webmaster, choreographer, social chair, and obtained several solos. Check out my featured tracks from the group's first album, The First TraXX, and videos of some of my performances.

"How Come YouDon't Call Me" (OPB: Alicia Keys) is one of The CallbaXX's classics songs and is used for sing-ins (performing to new members at their residences to congratulate them on getting into the group) and for encores at every CallbaXX show. Since it remains a classic, the soloist is only re-auditioned whenever the previous soloist graduates. I held the solo from Spring 2011 - Spring 2013.

"Let Go" (OPB: Frou Frou) was the second solo I got in The CallbaXX and one that I found particularly moving. It became popular after it's big part in the movie "A Garden State" and the original vocalist is the same as the one in Imogen Heap. I held the solo from Spring 2010 - Spring 2013.

"They" (OPB: Gem) was my very first solo in The CallbaXX - in fact, this video was the first official performance of it since I got it. I held the solo Fall 2009 - Spring 2010.
